Hello, I've been a graphic designer for more than 30 years now. While I am not really a fan of both, the bottom design is stronger than the top one by far.
I actually like the top one better. It seems to fit with your other cover designs more and leaves the added mystery of what the book is about. I would have to pick it up and read the back which would then probably get me sucked in knowing your books :)
I like the first one, it's simple and the colors catch the eye right away. I'm kind of a bad person for judging books by their covers but I do...but out of all of them so far my favorite (the one that would have me open the book) is the first.
The bottom one is much more powerful than the one on top. It at least gives the illusion of action. U.L. Harper was here

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Steinerk. I like the first.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughts everyone. After getting various bits o' feedback, I feel like the image isn't quite there. I'm going to try another round.
ReplyDeleteI like the second cover. =)
